A special collaboration between the Detroit Historical Society and the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum brings together an extraordinary collection of vehicles from Detroit’s first heyday of automobile invention, including handmade vehicles, one-of-a-kind automobiles, and cars associated with famous Detroit names.
On display in the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum's first-floor event space, see ten rare vehicles from the Detroit Historical Society collection, normally stored in archival “bubbles,” plus two other historic vehicles: one on loan from Fair Lane Estate and one from a private collection. View these priceless cars up close for the first time in many years with storytelling, historic maps, and other artifacts.
The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the birthplace of the Model T and the interpretation and celebration of Detroit’s automotive heritage and spirit of innovation.
Open hours are Wednesday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Find more details and tickets at fordpiquetteplant.org.
