Another Ann Arbor, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 1989 to promote the history, culture, and concerns of African Americans in Washtenaw County.

The Arab American National Museum documents, preserves, celebrates and educates the public on the history, life, culture and contributions of Arab Americans.

Holdings include the historical records and photographs of Ford Motor Company and The Henry Ford, the Henry Austin Clark, Jr., Automotive History Collection, and other major holdings in automotive, industrial, social and cultural American history.

The Bentley Historical Library houses the Michigan Historical Collections, which documents the history of the state of Michigan and the activities of its people and organizations. Founded in 1935, the Michigan Historical Collections is composed of more than 4,500 archival collections, 65,000 printed works, over 10,000 maps, and nearly 1.5 million visual images (including photographs, negatives, films, and videotapes). This is a statewide collection for Michigan covering all periods from the days of exploration through to the present, with collections drawn from each of Michigan's 83 counties.

The museum was established in 1993 and is administered by the Berkley Historical Committee. The museum displays memorabilia from the city archives and items contributed by local residents. Every year at Christmas, the museum features a holiday-themed display.

The Museum features the 1822 John West Hunter House and the 1928 Allen House. These historic structures are linked by the History Plaza, which serves as a gateway to the beautiful John West Hunter Historic Park.

The Bloomfield Historical Society encourages and creates a fuller awareness and understanding of the rich histories of Bloomfield Hills and Bloomfield Township.

It began with the private library of Clarence Monroe Burton and contains many documents dealing with Detroit, Michigan, the Old Northwest, Canada and New France.

The Canton Historical Museum houses collections of historic artifacts and documents which trace the history of Canton Township. Exhibits highlight the agricultural, governmental, and social history of the township. An archive of photographs and documents is also located onsite.

The Chaldean Cultural Center celebrates and explores the extraordinary history, arts, traditions, and contributions of the Chaldean people from ancient times to the present, serving as a repository of our collected history and stories into the next century.

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History provides exceptional learning opportunities, exhibitions, programs and events based on outstanding collections and research that explore the diverse history and culture of African Americans.

The Clarkston Community Historical Society was been created in order to bring together those people interested in the history of our community; and, as far as possible, to collect and/or preserve such things that are of historic interest.

The Clawson Historical Museum exists to collect, preserve, and encourage the use of documents, photographs and artifacts related to the early history of Clawson, from its settlement in 1823 to the present, focusing especially on the decade of the 1920s, when Clawson was incorporated as a Home Rule Village.

The Cranbrook Archives is the primary repository for the Cranbrook Educational Community.  The department is responsible for collecting, preserving, and making available community and divisional records of permanent value, the papers of members of the Booth, Scripps and Saarinen families, the records of Christ Church Cranbrook and other ancillary organizations, and the personal papers of faculty, staff, alumni and other individuals who have been associated with Cranbrook since 1904.

The Museum has 4 exhibit buildings: the Commandant's Quarters, The McFadden-Ross House, Exhibit Annex, and Gardner House. These all have different exhibits that depict Dearborn at different times and some Native American and military history.

The Detroit Public Library's digitized collections showcase rare and unique images from the Library’s Special Collections. These online collections feature more than 67,000 images that have been digitized and cataloged for public use. The Digital Collections allows users to remotely access photographs and other items from the Burton Historical Collection, National Automotive History Collection, E. Azalia Hackley Collection of African Americans in the Performing Arts, Ernie Harwell Sports Collection and the Rare Book Collection.

It is a non-profit organization for the preservation and perpetuation of the records of ancestors and families and to be of assistance to the Burton Historical Collection, Detroit Public Library.

The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House is home to exquisite architecture, breathtaking views, and a collection of fine a decorative arts that tell the story of one of America's most important industrial families.

It is an online collection of marine related primary sources.

The Farmington Historical Society is a civic group of like-minded individuals who are interested in preserving and sharing the history of Farmington and Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Ferndale Historical Society preserves the heritage of Ferndale for future generations.

The Finnish Center Association promotes and preserves Finnish and Nordic traditions and culture through social and educational activities for the public, on topics ranging from traditional foods and cooking, language, crafts and customs, festivals, literature, music, and gardening.

Formerly the Model T Automotive Heritage Complex Inc, the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is a museum and education center.
