Accordion
One accordion with a faux black crocodile carrying case. The accordion was made by the Excelsior Accordion, Inc., of New York. It has a wood frame which has been covered with a glossy black plastic laminate. The front has an opera mask style decoration above the keyboard. Silver-colored metal musical note decorations are located on the rounded corners of the frame and the "Excelsior" logo is shown on top. The keys are made of faux ivory. The bellows are made of black plastic which has the look of simulated leather. Two black leather carrying straps are included. Patent numbers shown on the bottom of the frame include: U.S. nos. 102700, 72337, and 1688151 along with Italian patent number 346131.
The hard-side carrying case has a handle and two brass combination locks. (Combination for the left side is 236, while combination for the right side might be 468). The interior is lined with maroon velvet and red wool. Affixed to the inside top corner of the case is an orange card from Excelsior that certifies a ten year warranty for product #4933. (This number is also printed next to the patent numbers and might indicate that this was the 4933rd accordion produced by Excelsior.)
