One Santa Bear stuffed animal which was sold as a promotional item by the Dayton Hudson Company as part of their 1999 Christmas holiday marketing campaign. The teddy bear toy is made of white polyester fiber with black plastic eyes and a black plastic nose. It is wearing a Merlin wizard costume which includes a purple satin pointed hat that is printed with gold-colored stars and moons, and has a dark purple velvet headband. Also included is a silver-colored ascot at the neck as well as a purple velvet robe that has dark purple trim around the collar, cuffs, and along the bottom edge. An oval-shaped patch on the left sleeve has gold-colored text that reads "Santabear, 1999." A black plastic 8-ball toy is contained in a gray sheer fabric bag that hangs from a gold-colored braided cord around the neck. A paper tag on the left ear has a multi-color image with printed text that reads "See the Future of the New Millennium" and "Santabear, 1999." An adjacent price tag shows $38.00. Also, a white fabric tag on the underside has black text that shows the manufacturer's name, address, material description, and registration details. The bear comes with a white plastic bag that is printed with multi-color images of Santabear on the outside and has a white drawstring at the top.
