1975 American Motors 2-Door Pacer

Automobile. A 1975 American Motors Corporation two-door Pacer. This compact car was the first Pacer off the production line, used by Pacer designer Dick Teague, and then sold to the donor. The car has unusual styling, emphasizing width over length, with glass almost all the way around. The vehicle has many accessories, including cruise control, AM/FM 8 track player, rear window defogger. This is the only one of this type to have a sliding moon roof.

Gift of Robert H. Jones in 1982.
