One employee identification badge from the passenger steamship, SS GREATER DETROIT, of the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Company (D&C Line). The oval-shaped badge is made of nickel-plated steel. The front surface is slightly convex and is stamped with black text that reads "D&C, 10, Greater Detroit." The back has a clasp-type pin for attachment to clothing. No manufacturer's name or marks are shown.
