Badge, Identification
One employee identification badge for "L. [Lawrence] Sherwood" of "G.L.S. [Great Lakes Steel] Corp." The rectangular badge is made of stamped steel with cutout openings on the front for an employee photograph (top) and number (bottom). It has a rounded top edge with blue paint around the photo cutout and raised text that reads "G.L.S. Corp." Employee number "4131" is shown in silver-colored numbers in the cutout beneath the photo. The back has a large clasp pin and a removable panel for inserting the employee photo and number. The panel is held in place with a single small rivet. Small stamped text near the center back reads "Whitehead-Hoag, Pat. Apl'd., Newark, N.J."
