Binoculars

One 10x magnification binocular viewer with pedestal stand that was manufactured by Hi-Spy Viewing Machines. The weatherproof binocular housing is made of cast aluminum that has been finished with gray metallic paint. It is mounted on an aluminum bracket which is attached to a head at the top of a 5.5-inch diameter aluminum pedestal. Both the aluminum bracket and pedestal head have swivel joints which allow the binoculars to be tilted up or down or turned 360 degrees horizontally. A knurled knob on the underside of the housing allows the user to adjust the focus. The pedestal is mounted on a 28-inch diameter aluminum base which has four holes for bolts so that the entire assembly can be secured to a wood dock, concrete sidewalk, or other pavement surface. The pedestal and base are painted black. A circular 13.5-inch high cast aluminum step is attached to the base with four aluminum support posts. The top of the step has raised text that reads "HISPY VIEWING," and "WWW.HISPYVIEWING.COM." An aluminum tag on the side of the pedestal has stamped text that reads "www.hispyviewing.com." In addition, engraved text at the base of the binoculars housing bracket has engraved text that reads "Hi Spy Viewing Machines," and "www.hispyviewing.com."
