One book entitled "Formulae" that was used by James Vernor. The book has a black cloth hardcover with the title shown on a typewritten label on the spine. It contains 288 pages that have pre-printed light blue lines with page numbers shown in the upper left and right corners. Pages 1 through 55 have index tabs for the letters A through Z along the right edges and this index section provides alphabetical listings of formula names along with the corresponding page numbers. Except for pages 200 through 259 which are blank, the rest of the book contains handwritten notes in black ink and pencil that show formulas for various syrups, extracts, powders, pills, colognes, dyes, liniments, and medicinal compounds. Page numbers for Vernor's Liniment and Ginger Ale formulas are summarized as follows:
