Bottle
One standard wine bottle (750 ml) filled with red wine. The bottle is made of clear glass and has a cork stopper as well as a black/gold plastic seal around the top of the neck. A large white paper label on the side is printed in red and black text that shows "Limited Edition to Celebrate the Induction of Chuck Thompson into the Unlimited Hydroplane Hall of Fame" and "Hosted by Great Lakes Maritime Institute at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, Detroit, Michigan, May 30, 1996." Additional text on the sides of the label shows "Boat: Miss Pepsi, 1950-1956" and "Owner/Sponsors: Dossin's of Detroit." The center of the label features a color image of hydroplanes racing on the Detroit River in front of the Detroit Yacht Club and is signed by the artist, Robert McGreevy. Smaller text at the edge of the label gives a description of the dry red wine and notes "Alcohol 12% by Volume." The wine was "Produced & Bottled by Wine Master's Cellars, Buchanan, MI 49107."
