One cereal bowl from the dining room of the bulk carrier, SS Cygnus, of the Interlake Steamship Company (managed by Pickands Mather & Company). The round bowl is made of heavyweight, off-white glazed china. It has a rounded top edge and rounded sides that curve to form a short circular base. Narrow green stripes encircle the outside of the bowl just below the rim and at the base. A circular green logo with the letters "ISS Co. [Interlake Steamship Company]," is stamped on one side of the bowl. The underside is stamped with green text that reads "Buffalo China, 1915."
