One cereal bowl from the dining room of the bulk carrier, SS Frontenac, of the Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company. The round dish is made of heavyweight glazed china in a bone/ivory color. It has curved sides and a thickened rim. A green band with alternating small white stars and circles encircles the top surface along the midpoint of the sides of the dish. A vertical green diamond-shaped "C" logo is stamped on one area of the green band. Stamped black text on the underside of the plate reads "Shenango China, U.S.A.," and "RimRol, WelRoc, R-26."
