Wheaties cereal box featuring an image of Joe Dumars, Rick Mahorn, Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, Isiah Thomas, Vinnie Johnson of the Detroit Pistons on the front, released following the team's 1989 NBA World Championship victory. A passage titled "A Tribute to the Detroit Pistons," written by Shelby Strother of the Detroit News is printed on the back of the box, above a team photo. The box's side panels feature nutrition facts and an order form for the 1989 Detroit Pistons Commemorative Dirty Dunk, a basketball hoop-themed laundry hamper. The flaps on both ends have been opened and the box has been collapsed. The box has a $2.79 price tag affixed to one of its top flaps.
