Great Western Railway broadside mounted on linen promoting their service from Detroit across the Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge over competing routes from Detroit to Buffalo by way of Cleveland. Advertisement reads:

East, Passports good for one year
Notice to Passengers
Passengers going to and returning from the east will really save several hours time and considerable expense, by taking the Great Western Railway between Detroit and Suspension bridge.
Fare from Detroit to Buffalo and back, via Cleveland, exclusive of intermediate expenses and delays, $19
Fare via Suspension Bridge, including Yearly Passport, and all expenses and save so much time by making direction connection, $17.
