Buckle, Belt
One belt buckle for the D.S.R. (Department of Street Railways) bowling team, 1941-1942. The buckle face is made of brass that is slightly curved. It has a decorative border, an eagle at the top, bowling ball and pins at the center, and lettering at the bottom that shows " '41 D.S.R. '42." The back of the buckle face has a brass-plated steel clasp mechanism for attaching one end of the belt and also for adjusting its length. The back of the buckle face is stamped "Dodge, Inc., Chicago." and has a small eagle and shield emblem. The clasp mechanism is stamped "Giant Grip, Pat. Pend." and "Invisible, Made in U.S.A."
