Bust
One small plaster bust of Leonard Slatkin, who was the music director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from 2008 to 2018. The bust shows a head and shoulders, front view of the subject as a middle-aged man. He is wearing a shirt, a tie, and a suit jacket. The bust is finished with a spray enamel metallic bronze paint. The sculptor, Joel Stone, has inscribed his name, "J. Stone, 2019, Slatkin," on the underside of the bust which is mounted on a vertical 1-inch diameter aluminum tube handle that has a bronze finish.
