One "Dual Frame Identification Camera" (mugshot camera) that was made by "Sirchie Finger Print Labs" and was used by the Wayne State University Police department. The box-shaped, two-piece camera body is made of metal that has been painted flat black and has a stippled finish. The removable battery/flash/control module (serial number 02826) on top has a plug on the underside and latches on the left and right sides which secure it to the lower portion of the body (serial number 02827). The front of the camera has a flash unit on the upper portion and a tan-colored metal faceplate with two lenses on the lower portion. Painted text on the faceplate reads "Dual Frame Identification Camera" and "Sirchie Finger Print Labs, P.O. Box 30576, Raleigh, NC 27622" as well as "P.N. XZ307BC." The back of the camera has control buttons and indicator lights on top and a Polaroid film holder on the bottom. The holder has a hinge on the left side and a spring-type latch on the right. In addition, the camera has a rectangular-shaped handle on the left side, threaded holes for a tripod mount on the bottom, and a charging plug for the upper module on the right side. The camera was designed to shoot two passport-sized photographs - one for each lens.
