Candlestick

One clear glass candlestick with a square rim, shaft, and flared base. There is a strip of gold metal that is on the top of the neck by the candleholder. There is also a paper material on the inside of the candleholder. These articles came from the house in Sandwich, Ontario, owned by Francois Baby in 1812, where General William Hull, Governor of the Territory of Michigan, took refuge after surrendering Detroit to the British in 1812.
