This cane is made from timbers of the brig LAWRENCE, flagship of Commodore Perry, victor in the Battle of Lake Erie. 1813. Given to Eminent Sir J.E. Saxton, E.C., by J.A. Tricker and A.W. Gaylet of #4 Knights Templar, Philadelphia. Given by Mr. Saxton to Captain General Robinson.
