Cane. White oak stick with metal tip nailed on. Flat and tapering to bottom. Written on the side of the object is: "Presented to my friend, Col. H.B. Bristol, U.S.A. This white oak stick I cut out from Com. Perry's Flag S. St. Lawrence, Laying stuck in Misery Bay Erie, P.A. in the year 1840. Jos. A. Jenking." The object is tapered and has a hole about 2.5" from the top center.
