Partial deck of 23 playing cards printed with Goebel Brewing Company advertising on the backs, as well as on the faces of the Aces. The Queen of clubs and all cards lower than 9 are missing. A mirrored design of a mustachioed man Bavarian costume seated before a glass and bottle of Goebel Beer is printed on the card backs, surrounded by blue and white scrollwork designs, and red and yellow G's. The Ace of spades incorporates the winged Goebel logo into the spade, and features the text, "Goebel, 'Blue Label,' 'Pilsener,' 'Wuerzbrger,' 'Export' Bottled Beers. Malt Extract. The Goebel Brewing Co. Detroit, U.S.A." The Ace of Clubs includes the text, "The Beer That's Pure. Palatable, Nutritious." Both the Ace of hearts and diamonds are printed with the text, "Goebel, Malt Extract. Concentrated Essence of Malt and Hops."
