1890's Enclosed Rockaway Carriage
All-black enclosed rockaway carriage, constructed of wood. The cart is four-wheeled with a fixed top that extends over the external coachman's seat. There is one door on either side of the body. One row of passenger seats faces forward. The interior seats and the driver's seat are upholstered in leather, as are the footrest and dashboard. One lantern is attached.on either side of the drivers seat. Unknown maker/manufacturer.
