Carving

One hand carved wooden figure of a duck. The carving is made of a lightweight, medium-grained wood and shows detailed sculpting and shaping. It has been finished with black/white/blue/gray paint and depicts a duck of the Greater Scaup species. Its eyes are made of small circular pale yellow plastic discs with black centers and a convex outer surface and have been attached on each side of the head. The maker, Richard Sprague, has carved his insignia and "1982" on the underside.
