Carving

One hand carved wooden figure of a duck. The carving is made of a lightweight, medium-grained wood and shows detailed sculpting and shaping. It has raised tail feathers and has been finished with black/red/brown/white/blue/gray paint to depict a Ruddy drake. Its eyes are made of small circular black plastic discs with a convex outer surface and have been attached on each side of the head. The maker has carved his name, "R. [Richard] K. Sprague, 1979," on the underside.
