Chair
One reproduction of "The Gossiper" telephone stand/chair, c.1927. The oak stand/chair has a small, flat wood seat and phone book slot with a small elevated shelf for a telephone. The entire assembly is fastened together with wood screws. The legs and back have decorative edges and well as several decorative cut-out areas. All of the wood has been stained dark brown and has been finished with a semi-gloss varnish of lacquer.
