Chalkboard
One "Soupy Sez" chalkboard. The rectangular black chalkboard has a wide wood border that has been painted red and white in a candy-cane stripe design. A sign with black text at the top shows "Soupy Sez." Handwritten light green chalk text on the board reads "Always Be True to Your Teeth and They'll Never Be False to You!" along with white chalk text that reads "Lunch Today: Tomato Soup, Cheese Sandwich, Jello, Milk." The chalkboard was used during the "Lunch with Soupy" children's show on WXYZ Channel 7 television in Detroit in the 1950's.
