Woman's navy blue wool coat. The novelty weave coat has a straight silhouette, a small stand-up collar that folds down to form lapels, padded shoulders, long straight sleeves with the fabric pattern set on the diagonal, and slit pockets at the sides. It has no fasteners at the front, is of mid-calf length, and is lined with navy faille fabric. Label on inside back of collar (sewn upside down): "Walter's, Inc., Washington Blvd. at Clifford."
