Coin

One U. S. copper penny, dated 1900, that was found in the Bi-Centenary Box (1901 Time Capsule). The obverse has a reeded border with the words, "United States of America," along the perimeter. An Indian head image is shown at the center with the date, "1900," at the base of the neck. The Indian is wearing a feather headdress that has the word, "Liberty," on the headband. The reverse has a reeded border with oak leaves along the perimeter. A shield emblem is shown at the top and a bundle of arrows that is tied with a ribbon is shown at the the base. The words, "One Cent," are stamped at the center.
