One commemorative brass coin. The obverse shows a view of a three-masted schooner on Lake Huron with the Blue Water Bridge in the background. Raised text shows "Blue Water Festival" and "July 17-29, 1849-1949, Port Huron, Mich. - Centennial." Raised text on the reverse shows "Port Huron, Michigan, Founded by Petite, White and Harrington in 1835, Incorporated in 1849. Includes Villages of Peru, Desmond, Gratiot, Huron, and Fort Gratiot." Small text near the lower edge shows the coin manufacturer's name, "Whitehead-Hoag."
