Cookbook

One hardcover cookbook entitled "Detroit Times Homemakers' Club Cook Book." The title is printed in black text on a red and white check background. It has a wire spiral binding and contains 171 pages of black printed text on white paper. The book provides recipes for several hundred different food dishes and some black and white photographic images are included with the text. An index at the front arranges the recipes by food category. The book was prepared by "Prudence Penny, Home Economist" for the Detroit Times. It was published by the Detroit Times in 1937. A handwritten inscription in blue ink on the first page shows "Elynore Lynch Flavin, Whittier Hotel, 415 Burns Drive, Detroit, Michigan."
