Crate
One wood 6-pack beverage crate for "Pepsi-Cola." The crate is made of pine wood that has been finished with a light lacquer or varnish to seal the grain. The side panels have red and blue painted text that shows "Buy Pepsi-Cola" and the end panels each show a red and blue image of a Pepsi-Cola bottle. The end panels are cut in a triangular shape with a notch at the top for a cross-member that forms a handle. The edges of the triangular ends have narrow strips of steel edging that have been nailed in place in order to add reinforcement and reduce splits in the wood. Three slats have been nailed in place along the bottom. The crate also has a center divider panel at the bottom.
