Decoration
One section of a cast iron architectural decoration from the marquee on the Farmer Street side of the J. L. Hudson Company store in downtown Detroit. The decoration has a flat top. The front is painted black and has a repeating raised scrollwork pattern of looped ribbons, floral designs, and teardrops. The back side is flat with a horizontal channel at the top and is unpainted.
