One dessert or ice cream dish from the dining room of the tanker, Toledo Sun, of the Sun Oil Company (Sunoco). The oval-shaped dish is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has slightly-curved sides with a narrow, flat, slightly-upturned rim that has a thickened outer edge. Narrow blue and yellow stripes encircle the outer edge of the rim. A blue/yellow "Sunoco" logo is printed on the top surface of the dish at the center of one of the long sides. The underside is stamped with black text that reads, "Shenango China, New Castle, PA, U.S.A.," and "D-23."
