Dress

One lady's three-piece black silk dress. The fitted bodice has interior stays, a high collar, grosgrain epaulets, a moire band down the right front, long tight sleeves, and applied designs of black braid and jet on the left front and lower end of the sleeves. Hook/eye closures at the front are hidden behind a long, slightly ruffled front panel. The undecorated full skirt has a high waistband with hook/eye closures, fullness at the back, and a brown cambric fabric lining. The three-quarter length coat has high collar, long sleeves, and hook/eye closures down the center front. The collar, front, and cuffs are all trimmed with black braid, black lace, and jet.
