Dress

Woman's brown wool dress. The dress has a high collar, long sleeves, hidden pockets on the side seams, a zipper closure at the back, and three vertical seams on bodice front which extend to the skirt. The central bodice seam continues into a single pleat at the center of the skirt. A narrow matching fabric belt is sewn at the sides of the front waistline and includes decorative brass loops on each side. The dress is fully-lined with a brown rayon/acetate fabric. Label on inside back seam of skirt: "Mollie Parnis, New York." Also an "ILGWU [International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union]" label.
