Dress

One lady's dark blue crepe dress. The dress has an oval neckline and a flat collar that follows the line in the front. The collar divides in the center back and extends downward into two deep points that end at the waist. The attached three-quarter length tunic is also divided in back where it is gathered slightly to fall in soft folds. The dress has snap closures on the left side seam near the waist. The skirt hangs straight. The wrist-length sleeves are made in two pieces that are joined at the elbow with the lower half being split to form two wing-like projections. The close-fitting plain cuffs have red/silver plastic buttons with loops. The dress has a half belt of matching fabric that ties in a bow at the back. The collar and sleeves are trimmed with a chain stitch embroidery pattern of small flowers and leaves along with tiny red and white beads. The collar and lower sleeves are lined with a rust colored crepe. No manufacturer's labels are shown.
