Dress

One lady's summer dress made of light blue and white organdy cotton. The "Little Bo Peep" style dress has a wide, light blue collar with a V-front and ruffles along the edges. It has elbow length sleeve with ruffles on the cuffs. The lower part of the skirt has vertical panels that are divided by vertical lines of ruffles all the way around. One blue and white embroidered check square has been appliqued in the bottom center area of each skirt panel. A calf-length, white under-dress of white organdy fabric shows in front and has a hemline slightly below the outer blue fabric. Ten small fabric-covered false buttons are located on the front of the under-dress in a single row beneath the neckline. The back panel and straps of the under-dress are made of white netting with picot edges. Snap closures are located at the left waist. A blue cummerbund-style belt fastens on the left side with snaps. No manufacturer's labels are shown.
