Fire extinguisher. Cylindrical copper fire extinguisher with a large brass plaque on its front. Domed top capped with a circular handle. Circular metal tag stamped with the number "14" hangs from the handle. Thin wire wrapped around left side of circular handle, likely for attaching the annual service tag referred to in the instructions on the plaque. Additional handle positioned slightly lower on rear of dome. Short rubber hose with a metal nozzle attached to a spout on right side of the dome. Plaque reads:

Turn Bottom Up
To Charge
Fill Extinguisher with water up to mark on inside
Into water dissolve 1 1/2 lbs. bi-carbonate soda
Fill bottle half fill (4 fluid ozs) sulphuric acid

Protect from freezing--screw cover on tight
If partially used clean thoroughly and recharge
Discharge and recharge yearly
Record date last charged on card attached.
