Flag

Company burgee from the American Steamship Company fleet. The flag is red, white, and blue and is made of nylon in a swallowtail shape. It has a blue border (6 inches wide) along all of the edges. The center area is white and contains a red block letter "A." The two tails at the tapered end of the burgee are each 24 inches in length. The hoist edge of the burgee is reinforced with a heavy white nylon binding and has brass grommets at the corners. The manufacturer's stamped label notes: "Dura-Lite, 95% Nylon, 5% Other Fibers" and "Dettra Flag Products, 4 x 6 Ft."
