Game, Dexterity

A "pick-up sticks" game entitled Jack-Straws. Text printed on the front of the box reads "Popular / Jack-Straws / Published By Parker Brothers / Salem Mass. U.S.A." It contains a large number of pieces of various lengths and shapes, as well as two dice. The pieces are held in the original cardboard box covered with decorative paper. The label has picture of renaissance dandy drawing a sword. Next to him sits a sheaf of grain. There is a castle upon a hill in the background. The edges of the box are decorated with a floral vine and leaf pattern. There is handwriting inside of the lid that appears to be scorekeeping notations.
