Glove

One pair of Edelweiss pale lime green doeskin leather ladies' gloves, size 6 3/4, still sewn together with attached price tag and detached product information tag. The gloves feature three darts stitched on the back of the hand. The small hang tag has "The J.L. Hudson Co." printed on the recto and "3-1 / 1042 / Lillet / 4.69" printed on the verso. "6/3 / Made in France prior to June 1940 / S-41 / 764" is stamped inside of the right glove. The Edelweiss logo, and "Edelweiss Exclusive With The J.L. Hudson Co. / Guaranteed Washable / Made in France" are stamped inside the left glove.

A half folded tag with "Edelweiss, Fleur Des Alpes, Made in France Exclusively for The J.L. Hudson Company, Guaranteed Washable and Non-Crockable" printed on the cover, was originally inserted in the gloves. The interior of the tag contains detailed care and washing instructions.
