Hat

One young lady's calot style hat. The brimless hat is made of a dark turquoise felt and has a slightly pointed top, a rounded front, and a slightly wavy stitchline above the lower edge. Small clear beads are sewn in a widely-spaced pattern across the top along with eight faux diamonds. Small elongated clear and faux pearl beads are sewn across the lower front edge to form a stem and bud design. Turquoise netting is also sewn across the front. A 5/8-inch wide fabric band is sewn along the inside lower edge as a headband. Labels on the inside back read "Reproduction of Original, Jacques Fath, Paris" and "Crowley's Career Girl, Detroit." A size label shows "22." Stamped white text on the inside top of the hat reads "M1 Primac Deluxe Velour."
