Hatbox

One hat box from a "Peck & Peck" store in the Detroit area. The circular, drum-shaped box is made of cardboard and the exterior sides are covered with the enlarged image of a black and white tweed check fabric pattern. It has a removable lid with a narrow black stripe at the top edge and a pale red band along the side with repeating black printed text that reads Peck & Peck." The top of the lid is stamped with a black logo that depicts a family crest along with black printed text that reads "Peck & Peck, Fifth Ave., New York."
