Helmet

One Wayne State University Police helmet. The helmet is made of dark blue molded fiberglass with a short blue plastic visor at the front and has black vinyl trim along the lower edge. It has v-shaped black vinyl straps at the sides, an adjustable black nylon web chin strap, and a black plastic chin guard. The interior has a black plastic lining, foam pad at the top, and a gray plastic headband. An embossed metal tag on the inside back reads "70 042 03." An adhesive paper label on the inside has black printed text that reads "Smith & Wesson, MK x 11 Riot Control Helmet." Manufacturing details and specification standards are also listed. The helmet is contained in a white cardboard box which is printed with blue text that reads "Smith & Wesson Protective Headgear."
