Jacket

One uniform jacket worn by Detroit Fire Department Captain Joseph A. Mancinelli. The ventless, double-breasted jacket is made of heavy dark blue wool fabric and is fully-lined with black satin acetate. It has eight chrome-plated brass buttons down the front and no exterior breast or side pockets. Each cuff has two silver stripes, five silver stars, and three chrome-plated brass buttons. The buttons on the jacket front have raised text that reads "Detroit Fire Department." Buttons on the jacket cuffs are embossed with a small shield and stars emblem with the letters, "DFD." The jacket has two interior pockets, but no manufacturer's labels are shown.
