Jacket
One uniform jacket worn by Detroit Police officer, Joseph A. Troyanek. The single-breasted, ventless jacket is made of heavy dark blue wool fabric and is partially-lined with black satin acetate. It has four brass buttons down the front. Two grommet-reinforced holes are located on the left breast to allow for attachment of a badge. Each cuff has a narrow black decorative cord and three brass buttons. All of the jacket buttons are embossed with the police department emblem and the words, "Detroit Police." The jacket has two interior pockets and one manufacturer's label that shows "Michigan's Largest and Finest Tailor, Wm. F. King, 539-543 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich."
