Cabin key with a circular brass tag from a Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company passenger steamer, likely the CITY OF DETROIT III. The key and reverse of the tag are both engraved with the room number 259. The obverse of the tag reads "D&C, D. & C.N. Co. Detroit, Mich. If Carried Away Drop in any Mail Box." The key is marked "P. & F. Corbin, New Britain Ct."
