Cabin key with a circular brass tag from a Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company passenger steamer, like the CITY OF DETROIT III. The key and reverse of the tag are both engraved with the room number 258, and the key includes the letter "D" beside the number. The obverse of the tag reads "D&C, D. & C.N. Co. Detroit, Mich. If Carried Away Drop in any Mail Box."
