Key
One cabin key from the passenger steamship, SS City of Detroit III, of the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company (D&C Line). The large skeleton key is made of brass and is stamped "D3" on one side and "363" on the other side at the top. A double ring at the top has an attached circular tag that is made of brass. The tag is stamped with raised text that shows "D&C, D.&C. N. Co., Detroit, Mich." Additional raised text on the perimeter of the tag shows "If Carried Away, Drop in Any Mail Box."
