One Parke Davis vaccine kit. The kit consists of a rectangular black leather case with a snap flap opening at the top. The interior has a central divider along with metal clips that hold 13 small brown glass vials in place as well as three small glass test tubes, a glass syringe, and a metal holding tube with two hypodermic needles. The 1 ml. glass vials have paper labels that list various vaccine contents including influenza, pertussis, streptococcus, pneumonia, and bacterial (combined). One vial contains a carbolic acid solution. All of the vaccine vials are dated May 24, 1917. bottom of case imprinted in gold: "KJC 1917" and "Bacterial Vaccines. Parke, Davis & Co.
